Evil Eye in Christianity

The concept of the evil eye in religion is so widespread that all religious groups recognize it as something to guard against. However, these beliefs naturally vary. The evil eye in Christianity is believed to be such a danger; one that requires guarding against. It is considered to be an actual manifestation of the battle that goes on in the spiritual world. It is one of the weapons used by Satan and his forces against God and God’s forces as well as the people.    Christianity believes in the existence of Satan and demons, though they are not believed to be actually manifests in physical form. The evil eye in Christianity is considered to be one of the tools that the negative forces use in order to bring harm to Christian believers.   The evil eye in Christianity is considered to be a danger not just towards the believers but also coming from them. Christianity warns its believers to protect themselves from getting affected by envy in case they themselves might be the source. Christianity warns believers not to use the eye for evil or negative purposes such as harboring negative thoughts about other people. The Christianity’s belief in the evil eye is found on some passages in the Holy Word. According to the Bible, Jesus referred to the eye as the lamp of the body. The Bible goes...

The Bavaria Cruiser 55 Experience

When I first saw her in Biograd, Croatia at the charter base I was very impressed. She is massive and definitely draws a lot of attention. The first thing that you recognize really is the bathing platform, which you can easily host a couple of people for sun-downers (we did that and its awesome). I am 6 ft tall and standing on that platform just allowed me to peek in the cockpit. A couple of steps lead up into the cockpit. I can’t compare the size of this cockpit to anything I have seen so far. Its huge, a single huge entertainment area. Helming area and social area are separated, but I never had the feeling to be just at the helm. This separation helps a lot when single-handing though. You can handle the lines and everything, while your guests can hang out and enjoy whatever they want to enjoy in the other section of the cockpit. At any time you are part of the group… which is kind of nice. There are a lot of nice features on deck and all around the cockpit. I don’t want to point them all out, but some of the stuff they came up with is really useful. A lot has been written about this boat, so please go to the respective sites. One thing though drove me crazy. The position of...

Good Guitar Chords For A Love Song – How to Write a Love Song On Guitar

If you are looking for good guitar chords for a love song then I would certainly suggest using minor chords somewhere in the progression because minor chords tend to set the correct tone, however it isn’t completely necessary. Let’s take look at 2 very popular love songs and see why. Bryan Adams has written 2 hit songs, ‘Heaven’ and ‘Everything I do’. Now if you were to ask me, I would say that both these songs would have strong minor chords, but surprisingly only one of them does, and the thing is that the song I would have put money on being mainly minor chords, ‘Everything I do’ actually only has 1 minor chord. ‘Everything I Do’ has only 4 chords – A, D, G and Em so it’s the melody of the vocals and lyric that provides the strong love song element to the piece. It’s a great song to play just on acoustic guitar because of the simplicity of the song but you can also play it on electric guitar and it will still sound quite good. ‘Heaven’ again has very a very strong vocal arrangement with emotional lyrics and is more of a rock ballad than ‘Everything I do.’ The guitar chord sequence has 2 minor chords and are as follows – Am, Dm, C, F, G. Again it’s a nice song to play just on...

Enter into the joy of your lord – Matthew 25:21 (NKJV). Nobody gets paid by an organization if the person is not on their payroll. You have to be a staff working in that organization for you to be entitled for any payment at the end of the week or month. So also, you have to be actively servicing God to be qualified for His blessings. In Exodus 23:25, God listed the blessings that will come upon anyone who is serving Him. This list covers...
